I’m the sixth-generation farmer running for the U.S. Senate in Arkansas to unseat Tom Cotton.

I grew up on a soybean and rice farm outside of Newport, Arkansas. My parents taught me the value of hard work and service to your community. I took that lesson seriously. I worked hard in school and earned a full-ride scholarship to Vanderbilt University, then went on to study public service at the Clinton School of Public Service.

I came home and put that training to work as the primary operator of my family’s farm and an advocate for conservation, sustainable farming, regional food production systems, and hunger relief.

We did everything right, worked harder every year, and still the math stopped working. After the 2024 season, we made the heartbreaking decision to shut the farm down.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate because I have seen firsthand how policy decisions affect real people and real communities. No one who works that hard should be left with nothing to show for it. I will fight for Arkansas every single day, because I believe hard work should mean a good life again.
